Indoor cats burn less energy, so daily portions are smaller: about 28 to 40 g for a 3 kg cat, 34 to 49 g for 4 kg, 39 to 57 g for 5 kg and 43 to 65 g for 6 kg, split into two meals. Switch foods gradually over at least 5 days and always keep fresh clean water available. Portions vary with age, activity and living conditions, so watch your cat's shape and adjust.
