Club 4 Paws Premium for Puppies of Miniature and Small Breeds with Chicken is a complete dry food for small-breed puppies up to 1 year old (adult weight up to about 10 kg). The 29/16 growth formula is built on 29% dehydrated chicken protein for muscles, with balanced calcium and phosphorus for growing bones and teeth. The kibble is extra small for tiny jaws, and Omega 3 and 6 from salmon oil and linseed support healthy skin and a shiny coat during growth. Made in Ukraine by Kormotech with no artificial colors or flavors. 2 kg bag.

Feed by age and current weight: at 2 to 3 months about 31 to 60 g per day depending on size, peaking at 4 to 6 months (about 34 g for a 1 kg puppy, 100 g for 5 kg, 190 g for 10 kg), then tapering to about 26 to 138 g from 9 months. Split into 3 or 4 small meals for young puppies, then 2 meals. Always keep fresh water available. At 12 months, switch gradually to the Small Breeds adult food. About 395 kcal per 100 g.

Is this the right food for my puppy's breed?

It is made for puppies whose adult weight will be up to about 10 kg, like Chihuahuas, Yorkies, Maltese and small Poodles. For bigger breeds, use the Puppies All Breeds formula.

Until what age is my dog a puppy?

Small breeds mature at about 12 months. Feed this food until then, and switch gradually to the Small Breeds adult food over about 7 days.

How many meals a day for a puppy?

Up to 4 months old, split the daily amount into 3 or 4 small meals. From 4 to 6 months, 3 meals. After 6 months, 2 meals a day is enough.

Can I soften the kibble for a very young puppy?

Yes. For puppies around 2 months, moisten the kibble with warm water for a few minutes. Reduce the water gradually as the puppy's teeth get stronger.
